At Peroz, your privacy is of utmost importance. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information while ensuring transparency and control over your data.
Peroz provides an appointment booking platform for barbers and clients worldwide. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and protecting your personal information in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
By using the Peroz app, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you have questions or wish to manage your preferences, please contact us at hi@peroz.ca.
Your data is used to:
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Data sharing is limited to trusted partners or service providers necessary to operate the app, such as payment processors and notification systems. Additionally, payment information will never be saved in the Peroz application or website.
We may share your data with:
We may send you updates or promotional offers, but only if you have opted in when creating an account. You can opt out by deleting your account.
We implement robust technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
When a salon signs up to Peroz, certain business information — such as the salon name, address, services, pricing, opening hours, images, staff names, and client ratings/reviews — is public-facing data. It is displayed in the Peroz client app and on our website so that clients can discover the salon and book appointments.
This public visibility is independent of the salon's subscription status. If a salon's free trial ends, or its subscription lapses or is not renewed, the salon's public profile will continue to be displayed in the client app and website. Only certain features are affected by an inactive subscription — namely, eligibility for "Featured" placement and the ability to accept new bookings, which are disabled until the salon has an active trial or subscription.
Salon business data will continue to be shown publicly until the salon owner chooses to permanently delete their business account from the Settings section of the Peroz Business (salon) app. Deleting the account is permanent and will remove the salon's profile, services, staff records, and appointment history from public view and from our systems. If a salon owner is unable to access the app and would like their business information removed, they can request this by emailing hi@peroz.ca.
